Globaltic birch charcoal here at Meat Smoke Fire. The size of the pieces are perfect for cooking on the Big Green Egg as they’re not so big you need to break them up, and not so small it blocks all the air vents. There is also very little dust in the bags, as they seem to be handled very well when shipping.

Birch has a light flavour; it’s a great all-rounder, in our opinion. Add some wood chips or chunks if you want a lot more smoke. The burn time is very good, and very little ash is produced.
